Zoeva ‘Cocoa Blend’ Palette

I have heard so many good things about the Zoeva ‘Cocoa Blend’ Palette, it’s been lying in the drawer in the studio for so long but I haven’t ever reached for it. Since more and more people have been talking about it, I wanted to give it a try. I am a massive fan of the Zoeva brushes but have always overlooked the makeup products. This palette has completely changed my mind, and I will definitely be purchasing the new Spectrum Palettes from them.

So, the palette comes in beautiful brown and gold packaging, with a magnetic seal. Even though it’s cardboard, it’s really sturdy and easily portable. Even before I opened this palette I had a feeling the shadows were going to be gorgeous, and I was not dissapointed. With 4 matte shades and 6 shimmers, you can easily create an array of different looks, and I think for the first time ever I will say I definitely use every single colour.

Bottom row, from top to bottom:
Pure Ganache – A yellow toned golden bronze, with a metallic finish
Substitute For Love – An orange based brown, with a matte finish
Freshly Toasted – A rich, red toned brown, with a matte finish
Infusion – A rich dark brown with gold glittery/shimmer
Delicate Acidity – A lilac taupe in the palette, but once on it goes a gorgeous lilac toned brown so I would call this a duochrome.

All shades in this palette in my opinion, have amazing pigmentation and such a creamy, buttery formula which makes them a dream to blend. If I was going to compare them I would say they are on par with the Makeup Geek eyeshadows, but I would say the Zoeva ones are a lot less crumbly and don’t haveas much fallout.
Retailing at £15.15 with 1.5g of product in the pan (the same as MAC), it is definitely worth picking one of the palette’s up! You can create so many different looks with it, and the colours are beautiful.

You can buy it from us at Orchard Makeup and Beauty, Falmouth, Tr11 2AB. We also sell the other palettes and brushes which are gorgeous too!
