Practicing different techniques

I had the lovely Tasha come into the studio last week to let me practice some photographic makeup on her. I did a look that was most flattering to her face, which was a classic smokey eye. Tasha has lovely eyes to work on, as there’s a lot of space on her eye, so you can really make the eyeshadow stand out. Her eyes are also brown, so you can go quite dark with the makeup, and it won’t look too much. Here is her before picture, and the products I used.

Products I used:

– MAC Paint Pot in ‘Soft Ochre’
– Ardell Eyebrow Pomade in ‘Medium Brown’
– Illamasqua Gel Liner in ‘Infinity’
– NARS Larger than Life Eye Liner in ‘Via Veneto’
– Benefit ‘They’re Real’ Mascara
– Ardell Lashes ‘Demi Wispies’

– MAC Studio Fix Fluid in ‘NC15’
– Nars Radient Creamy Concealers in the colours ‘Custard’, ‘Chantilly’ and ‘Honey’.
– Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, using the colours ‘Vanilla’ and ‘Banana’ for the highlight and the colour ‘Fawn’
– Makeup Geek Blushers in ‘Head Over Hills’ and ‘Spell Bound’
– MAC Prep and Prime Translucent Powder
– The Balm’s ‘Mary Lou’Manizer’ (my favourite!)

– No.7 Precision Lip Pencil
– Mac Sheen Supreme Lipstick in ‘Bare Again’
